Esports organization 2GGaming is determined to bring out the top Super Smash Bros. for Wii U talent from around the world for the upcoming 2GGC Civil War. As part of the event’s latest registration incentive, four top international players have been confirmed to attend, with three players making their American Smash 4 debuts.

Dennis “iStudying” Kwarteng is a top Dutch Smash 4 player, as well as one of the world’s top Greninja players. A player since the Brawl days, iStudying has competed mainly in the European circuit, but holds victories over some of Smash 4’s best players. His biggest win arguably came in December’s UGC Smash Open, where he defeated PGR #2 player Elliot “Ally” Carroza in pools. iStudying most recently finished in 4th place at BEAST 7 in Sweden.

William “Gluttony” Belaid is considered one of the top French Smash 4 talents, as well as the best Wario player in the world. Gluttony has competed in several European tournaments, most recently taking 9th place at BEAST 7. Prior to that, he placed 2nd at Germany’s Smash Valley, ultimately losing at the Grand Finals in two sets to Samuel “Dabuz” Buzby. Civil War will be Gluttony’s first U.S. tournament since the release of Smash 4. The Wario player previously competed in the U.S. for Super Smash Bros. Brawl, with his last tournament coming in 2012 at SKTAR in New Jersey.

Kome (no name given) has competed mainly in Japan and is considered to be the country’s best Shulk player. A newer face in the Smash scene, his notable results include a 1st place finish at the KIT Festival tournament, where he defeated top Olimar player Shuton in the finals.

Kome’s first American appearance will be at next week’s Frame Perfect Series 2. The Japanese Shulk player’s ability left a strong impression with Jason “Mew2King” Zimmerman, who personally offered him an invitation to the Florida major, according to Most Valuable Gaming’s Alex “Vayseth” Varga.

Vayseth also tells Yahoo Esports that Kome is expected to team up with Southern California native Nicko Bonilla, another Shulk main, for Doubles, opening the door for two distinct styles of Shulk play. Vayseth notes that Kome’s reputation precedes him, with the Shulk Discord community and its league of Shulk players specifically aiming to challenge the visiting Kome as the world’s best Shulk player.

Fuwa (no name given) is described by Vayseth as “probably Japan’s best Marth and arguably the strongest female Smasher in the world.” She sits at #20 on the Japan Power Rankings, having mainly competed in Japan over the course of Smash 4. Her strongest finish came at November’s Karisuma 11, where she finished in 3rd place. This will be her first American tournament since Apex 2013, when she competed in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Like Kome, Fuwa was also invited to compete at next week’s Frame Perfect Series 2, with Most Valuable Gaming flying in 10 top Japanese players for the event. In addition to competing in Singles, Fuwa will also compete in Doubles with her husband and PGR Top 50 player Tomoyasu “Earth” Yamakawa.

Gluttony, Kome, iStudying, and Fuwa’s additions to the Civil War field were an incentive from 2GGaming, following the registered player count hitting 575.

2GGC Civil War will be held at the Esports Arena in Santa Ana, CA from March 24-26 and is slated to be the second S-tier tournament of the Smash 4 year so far, with 46 of the PGR Top 50 players confirmed to be in attendance.
