Antonio Valencia to return for Manchester United against Stoke
Antonio Valencia is in line to return for Manchester United against Stoke City on Monday after more than three weeks out with a hamstring injury.
The Ecuador right back travelled to Dubai with the rest of United’s squad on Monday for a warm weather break and has resumed training after missing the last six matches.
Valencia has not featured since the 2-1 win away to West Bromwich Albion on Dec. 17, when he was forced off after 66 minutes, but Jose Mourinho now has him back.
Midfielder Michael Carrick, who underwent a heart procedure last year, has also been training in Dubai as he moves closer to a first team return.
Meanwhile, highly regarded young academy midfielder Aliou Traore has signed his first professional contract with United.
The 17-year-old has been training with United since a pre-season trip to Austria last summer but only officially joined the club from Paris St-Germain last month.
