Renowned Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team Astralis has featured in a new video from car manufacturer Audi.

Shared by the official Audi Denmark Facebook page, the video shows Astralis players competing at various events and makes use of several hashtags, with the recognizable #untaggable appearing at the end. It finishes with some footage of Audi’s new Q2 SUV, perhaps as a way of saying, “If you want to be a cool esports professional like these folks, buy this car”?

While the video isn’t too outlandish, it’s cool to see players getting the same video treatment that is often used for professional sporting athletes.

Astralis picked up Audi as a sponsor in January this year. They’re not the only team to have signed non-endemic sponsors as of late, as Washington D.C.’s own convention and sports authority announced a partnership with NRG Esports earlier today.

Astralis operates a bit differently to other esports organizations in that it is a player-owned team. The players have an ownership stake in the team, and get a say in key decisions being made. We recently spoke to Astralis’ Dupreeh about what the catalyst for transitioning to a player-owned organization was, and what he hopes to see from future sponsors.
