BlizzCon 2017 dates announced, first ticket sales start April 5

Blizzard has revealed the dates for this year’s BlizzCon event. BlizzCon 2017 is scheduled for November 3-4 and will be returning to the Anaheim Convention Center.

The first batch of tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 5 and 7:00 PM PT. The second batch will be available from Saturday, April 8 at 10AM PT. Tickets will be priced at $199 each, plus applicable taxes and fees, and be sold via Universe.

In addition to the usual exclusive BlizzCon merchandise, cosplay competitions, and panels with Blizzard developers and artists, the event will host competitive tournaments for Overwatch, StarCraft 2, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, and World of Warcraft.

For those with the cash to spare, there will also be tickets available to an exclusive pre-BlizzCon dinner. The dinner will allow attendees to spend time with Blizzard developers, artists, and community representatives on Thursday, November 2. Tickets will be priced at $750 and go on sale Wednesday, April 12 at 7PM PT. All net proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County.

The BlizzCon Virtual Ticket also returns this year, granting access to live streams of the event. Blizzard will be revealing more details closer to date.
