Delaware North, the parent company of National Hockey League team Boston Bruins, has announced a “strategic partnership” with multi-esports organization Splyce. The terms of the deal haven’t been revealed.

Delaware North is a food service and hospitality company that owns TD Garden, the arena that hosts Boston Bruins home games, as well as concerts and other entertainment events. They also provide services for “more than 50” pro sports venues.

Splyce fields teams in nine different games, most famously League of Legends and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.

It hasn’t been made clear exactly what the partnership will entail, but it is the latest display of interest from traditional sports businesses in the esports space. For more, stay right here on Yahoo Esports.
