Activision has announced dates and the location for its annual Call of Duty competitive event.

Call of Duty World League Championship will take place August 9-13 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida, home of the NBA’s Orlando Magic. This marks the first time the event has been held on the East Coast.

Thirty-two teams will compete at the Call of Duty World League Championship for a $1.5 million prize pool. The following six teams have already qualified for the finale in Stage 1 of Pro League play:

Team EnVyUs
Splyce
Mindfreak
Evil Geniuses
FaZe Cla
Rise Nation

Stage 1 continues through May and Stage 2 begins in June. You can find more information on teams competing and the schedules on the official Call of Duty site.

Last year, Team EnVyUs won Call of Duty World League Championship at CoD XP. Team EnVyUs’ Austin “Slasher” Liddicoat said the victory was “the real deal” and not a “fluke” in an interview with Yahoo Esports.

In related Call of Duty news, Call of Duty: World War II was revealed last week. While details were primarily focused on the single player campaign, Activision gave a very brief preview of multiplayer and confirmed Zombie Mode will return.
