And here’s another key note on Senzel…

(Why yes, I do love it when I can craft a blog post almost entirely from the tweets of other writers. Both are recommended follows.)

Senzel is currently unowned in 89 percent of Yahoo leagues, so most of you can make the add. Go get him if you need a hitting boost — shoo. Do it. After you’ve completed the pickup, please return for hype.

Last year, Senzel slashed .321/.391/.514 across two minor league levels, delivering 57 extra-base hits (including 14 homers) and stealing 14 bags. His numbers improved when he made the jump to Double-A, which is obviously an encouraging sign. As a batter, he’s widely considered to be among the most MLB-ready prospects in the game. He’s been a .300-hitter at every pro stop.

Cincinnati played Senzel at shortstop in the spring, creating a new path for him to make the majors. But the team has an immediate need at third base following the injury to Eugenio Suarez (fractured thumb), so Senzel will transition back to a position he knows well. He has the clear potential to be a 15-15-.285 guy in 2018, assuming an April arrival. Senzel should be long gone in dynasty and N.L.-only formats, but he’s widely available in standard mixed leagues. He can help, gamers.
