League of Legends Pro League team QG Reapers support Liu “Ali” Xudong had his contract terminated by the team at his request due to health reasons. He is now officially a free agent.

Ali himself first posted that he will depart the organization.

“Because there is no way I can participate in the team’s scrims or LPL matches, after having consulted with QG, I will be leaving the club and return to being a free agent.”

QG corroborated Ali’s statement.

“We would like to thank Ali for his efforts and contributions,” QG said. “We wish him smooth sailing going forward.”

Ali played in QG Reapers during the 2016 LSPL Summer split when they qualified for the LPL. This is his second team, as he also played in LSPL in 2014 with WE Academy, later known as Masters3, when they first qualified for the LPL before leaving due to differences in priorities.

QG have a second support, Hu “Cloud” Zhenwei, who started for QG during their match against Newbee Gaming on Friday. QG Reapers play Team WE later today.
