Counter-Strike’s ECS Season 3 finals to be hosted in London in late June


FaceIt’s Counter-Strike: Global Offensive league, the Esports Championship Series Season 3, will host its finals at The SSE Arena in London. The event will run June 23-25 and see the world’s top CS:GO teams compete for a share of a $1.5 million prize pool.

Tickets to the finals are now available for purchase on the league’s official site. For those who won’t be able to make it to the event in person, the tournament will be livestreamed from FaceIt’s YouTube channel.

Tickets start at £12.99 for a Standard ticket and £40 for a Premium ticket. Premium ticket holders will also receive an ECS Cap. More information, including early bird discounts, is available on the website. The SSE Arena has a capacity of 12,500 and also served as the venue for the ECS Season 1 finals, where G2 Esports was victorious.

Season 2 saw Astralis take home first place and a cool $250,000 in prize money.

ECS announced an exclusive partnership with YouTube in March this year, moving away from Twitch livestreams.
