Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko has announced the reformation of Counter-Strike team pro100.

The CIS-based team was first founded in 2001 and stopped actively competing in late 2007. Zeus has confirmed that he will still continue playing for Gambit Esports, although he did not specify what his role in pro100 would be. He said in a statement sent to Yahoo Esports:

“Yes, PRO100 is back. I hope this news is as exciting to the fans of this team as it is to me. I’ve played under this tag for a long time and it’s comeback has been my dream for many years. There are many well-known personalities in the organization, but who – should stay a secret for now. Soon I will give an expansive interview where all details will be unveiled.”

The team’s official Twitter account has confirmed that a roster announcement will be made tomorrow.

The team competed in CS 1.6 prior to transitioning to CS:GO, winning various tournaments including the ASUS Winter Cups 2005, 2006, and 2007, as well as WCG UA 2005 and 2006.

The announcement also hinted at the possibility of acquiring rosters in other games.

During their peak, the pro100 roster consisted of the following players:

  • Danylo “Zeus” Teslenko

  • Ioann “Edward” Sukharev

  • Mikhail “Kane” Blagin

  • Dmitry “raz0r” Petrukhino

  • Evgeny “KEKC” Petrukhino

Gambit Esports most recently finished in first place at DreamHack Austin 2017. They beat Immortals 2-0 in the grand final and scored a cool $50,000 for their win. Zeus is currently the in-game leader for the CS:GO team.
