Daigo “The Beast” Umehara is adding to his stable of endorsements, announcing a deal with headset maker HyperX on Wednesday.

As part of his “global sponsorship” deal, Daigo will exclusively wear HyperX headsets (also a Capcom Pro Tour official sponsor) in competition.

“Whether training for my next event or on-stage at a major tournament, I need the best quality sound so I can perform at the highest level,” Daigo said in a statement sent exclusively to Yahoo Esports. “HyperX gaming headsets are the most comfortable I’ve ever worn, while also providing world-class audio at a reasonable price. I’m excited to be a part of HyperX and look forward to working closely with them.”

HyperX becomes the third major sponsorship deal Daigo has signed this year after separating from his long-time sponsor Mad Catz. Back in May, Daigo joined forces with Red Bull and became Twitch’s first Global Ambassador a couple weeks later.

Daigo will be competing this weekend at Capcom Cup 2016, which kicks off December 2 at the Esports Arena in Santa Ana, CA. It then moves to the Anaheim Convention Center on December 3 as part of Sony’s PSX conference.
