Derek Carr and Raiders have worst pitch on a run play you'll see

The pitch play in the NFL looks routine. Mostly because, for professional athletes, it is routine.

That’s why Derek Carr’s pitch to Josh Jacobs against the Chicago Bears was so comical.

The Oakland Raiders were dominating the Bears when a true blooper got Chicago back in the game. Carr turned to pitch to the rookie Jacobs, and it sailed right past the running back. The ball went 17 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

Jacobs couldn’t pick up the fumble and Khalil Mack — Raiders fans might remember him — recovered it. David Montgomery scored for the Bears shortly after.

The Raiders were executing very well in London before that Carr-to-Jacobs pitch. But that was one ugly play.
