Chen “Dgc” Xu, former Chinese pro gamer and Oh My God coach, has joined LGD Gaming as new head coach of League of Legends after the departure of former head coach, Lee “Heart” Gwanhyung.

In the early stages of his career, Dgc played Dota, notably for EHOME. In 2011, Dgc joined professional League of Legends team CLC alongside former LGD coach, Luo “BSYY” Sheng. Dgc later joined Vici Gaming before retiring in 2014. In 2016, he coached Oh My God along with BSYY.

Heart left LGD Gaming, blaming himself for their poor run in 2016. LGD hastily looked to replace him during the Chinese New Year break. Because of the fast staff change, he will not be able to stand on stage during LPL’s second week (the first week back from break), but he will guide the team beforehand in how to draft. Starting in Week 3, he will be able to help the team on stage.
