Dignitas signs all-female CS:GO team, will compete internationally in co-ed and all-female tournaments

Philadelphia 76ers-owned esports organization Team Dignitas has announced the acquisition of an all-female Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. The squad was formerly known as Team Karma before becoming Selfless Gaming in 2016.

Prior to signing with Dignitas, the squad placed second at the 2016 and 2014 CS:GO Female World Cup tournaments. The roster is as follows:

  • Emmalee “emuhleet” Garrido (Captain)

  • Amanda “rain” Smith

  • Mounira “Goosebreeder” Dobie

  • Carolyn “artStar” Noquez

  • Catherine “Cath” Leroux

The team will be competing internationally in co-ed and all-female tournaments. Heather “sapphiRe” Garozzo will be the team’s coach as well as back up player.

“We are extremely happy to have signed a team who desires, as we do, to compete and win at the highest levels of play,” said Team Dignitas president Michael “ODEE” O’Dell. “We look forward to working alongside them in their journey and continued development as professional gamers. This is a team of talented competitors who has shown a drive to succeed and dedication to their sport and fans. We are ecstatic to announce the first all-female team in Team Dignitas’ proud 13-year history.”

The team will be competing at the Fragadelphia 11 Semi-Professional North American Cup in the Sixers’ hometown of Philadelphia in June.
