Doomfist’s gauntlet is missing from Overwatch map Numbani’s payload

The hints about Overwatch’s 24th hero are starting to mount up.

Earlier this week, Blizzard dropped a teaser in the form of an interview with 11 year old “inventor Efi Oladele,” in which it seemingly pointed towards some sort of robotic hero coming to the shooter’s roster. Then, Friday morning, the developer came out with a tweet showing off a smashed portion of the Numbani airport, the photo “taken” by the same person.

Now, Doomfist’s glove is missing from the payload on Numbani (at least on the PTR). And there’s a big hole in the wall that looks an awful lot like someone punched it in. Something… Doomfist-y went down here.

While Overwatch game director has gone on the record to state that “24 is not who you think it is,” Blizzard is certainly pointing in Doomfist’s direction. Now, if we can only make sure that friend of Yahoo Esports Terry Crews is involved.
