Valve has released Dota 2 patch 7.06, and the update brings a host of changes to the game’s mechanics.

The update changes how deny mechanics reward exp, with creep denials now granting the denying team 30 percent of the total experience bounty. In addition to this, experience for the party being denied has been increased, from 50 percent to 70 percent.

An extra melee creep has been added to the mid lane for the first 15 minutes of games. Neutrals now spawn every minute, whereas they previously spawned every two minutes. However, neutrals now give 20 percent less experience and gold, although the experience and gold granted are increased by 2 percent every 7.5 minutes.

The number of Shrines in base has also been brought down from five to three. Shrines will now begin games on cooldown, and become available at the five minute mark. They also grant lower mana regeneration, decreased from 1 mana per minute to 0.75 mana per minute.

Several heroes have also been updated, from cooldown changes to tweaks to ability ranges.

Other notable changes include the replacement of all 32 Respawn Talents in the game, and tweaks to several in-game items. For the full list of updates, check out the changelog on the Dota 2 site.

Valve recently revealed The International 2017 Battle Pass, which added a co-op campaign to the game. The International 2017 main event kicks off on August 7, when it will return to the KeyArena in Seattle. For more, head over to the Yahoo Esports Dota 2 hub.
