Previously, The Summit 6 took place in November 16-20, 2016. The event was a breakout tournament for Virtus.pro’s Dota 2 team, who emerged victorious over OG in the grand final. And while The Summit 7 does not necessarily have a large prize pool (especially when compared to the upcoming Kiev Major 2017), the tournament has a grassroots legacy in the Dota 2 scene.
