ELeague’s Street Fighter V Invitational’s Preliminaries begin today at 1pm PT.

The action will be live streamed on Twitch and YouTube. The first match of the day in Group A will pit SXSW Fighters Underground champion Bryant “Smug” Huggins versus Victor “Punk” Woodley, who had the best and worst days of his competitive career at SXSW.

Other players in Group A competing today include: Street Fighter V Evo 2016 champion Lee “Infiltration” Seon-woo, Julio Fuentes, former Evo and Capcom Cup champion Yusuke Momochi, Thomas “Brolynho” Proenca, Capcom Cup 2016 runner-up Ricki Ortiz, and Martin “Marn” Phan (who signed with Rise Nation last week.)

Some other notable matches for today include: Infiltration vs. Brolynho, Smug vs. Momochi, Marn vs. Punk, and Ricki Ortiz vs Julio Fuentes.

We ranked ELeague’s groups, and Group A rated second toughest, which is incredible considering its collection of talent.

Group B will compete on Tuesday, Group C on Wednesday, and Group D on Thursday. Competition starts at 1pm PT each day. You can view the full list of scheduled matches on ELeague’s site.

After this week’s preliminaries, ELeague’s regular season will take place Fridays from April 7-May 12.
