Everything the Nets gave up for James Harden
After showing up to camp late and voicing his displeasure with the direction of the franchise, James Harden is no longer a member of the Houston Rockets. He’s on his way to Brooklyn, as ESPN‘s Adrian Wojnarowski and Ramona Shelburne have reported.
Of course, the Nets had to pay a hefty price in order to get their third star — who also happens to be one of Kevin Durant’s former Oklahoma City Thunder running mates. The Nets reportedly gave away four players and even more in trade assets for Harden and a 2024 second-round pick courtesy of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

After four-plus years in a Nets uniform, LeVert's time in Brooklyn has come to an end. However, he will not join Houston or Cleveland, according to Shams Charania on The Athletic. LeVert is on his way to Indiana in exchange for Victor Oladipo. LeVert is in the first year of his three-year $52.5 million deal he signed with Brooklyn in August of 2019. Over the course of 225 games with the Nets, LeVert averaged 13.1 points per game on 43.3% shooting.

No more Fro-downs in Brooklyn -- at least not in a Nets uniform. Allen is on the move to Cleveland, where the Cavaliers already have Andre Drummond, JaVale McGee and Kevin Love for big men. Allen finishes his Nets career having averaged 10.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. He played in 234 games for the Nets over thee-plus seasons.

Prince signed a two-year extension with the Nets before he played in a single regular season game for Brooklyn, but he never consistently lived up to the hype. Prince will join Allen in Cleveland after averaging 11.4 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for the Nets over 76 games.

After playing a big role in the Nets rotation as a rookie, Kurucs saw his role diminish last season. This year, he's only played in five of Brooklyn's 12 games. Kurucs is headed for Housotn.

Apparently, Nets general manager Sean Marks had a change of heart about mortgaging the team's future away. Not only did Marks trade away Brooklyn's two best young players, he also sent three unprotected first-round picks to Houston (2022, 2024 and 2026), along with four first-round pick swaps (2021, 2023, 2025, 2027).
