UPDATE: Riot Games has unveiled the rework’s full ability details on Galio’s Champion Update page. The following article has been updated accordingly.

As it turns out, the newly reworked Galio really likes punching people.

After the reveal of the much-requested Galio rework yesterday, Riot Games has dropped a reveal of his abilities on the League of Legends Facebook page.

In one of the most ambitious reworks League of Legends has seen, Galio has been almost entirely changed. His passive (Colossal Smash) is an occasional area of effect punch to the ground, while his Q (Winds of War) launches a pair of tornadoes that meet at a point to deal sustained damage at a point. His W (Shield of Durand) is an approximation of his old ultimate, but charges up as he moves and Taunts enemies in a small AOE around him. His E (Justice Punch) is similar to Vi’s, launching Galio fist-first in a direction and knocking up any champions that he hits.

His ult is Hero’s Entrance and is likely the coolest ability of the bunch, launching him high into the air (with a dope animation, I might add), and dropping him (first first again) on top of an allied champion from a long distance. The impact knocks enemies up and away from the target.

Riot hasn’t dropped all the numbers yet, but we’ll keep you up to date on the Yahoo Esports League of Legends hub once they do.
