UK-based esports organization Gfinity has announced plans to launch Gfinity Elite Series, a competitive league featuring “some of the world’s most popular eSports titles in a dynamic new league format.”

As a part of this, the company will be launching the Gfinity Challenger Series in January 2017. This league will be open to players from around the world, inviting them to compete for ranking points. The top competitors will earn entry into the Gfinity Elite Draft, where professional teams will draft participants to become pro players and compete in the Gfinity Elite Series.

The Gfinity Elite Series will start in April 2017, with matches hosted at the Theatre of Electric Dreams in the Gfinity Arena in London. Those who are interested in signing up for the Gfinity Challenger Series can register their email on site for updates.

Gfinity will initially launch the Elite Series in the UK, offering fans the opportunity to support and participate in the league from the “grass roots all the way to the pro-level.” The organization has plans to eventually expand internationally with the Gfinity eSports World Series.

The organization has not yet detailed what games will be featured in the league. However, Gfinity currently supports Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, FIFA 17, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, and Rocket League on its platform.
