The record for underclassmen entering the NFL draft has increased again.

In all, 123 underclassmen have entered the 2018 NFL draft, with a record 106 being granted special eligibility for the draft by the NFL — meaning they have not completed their undergraduate degree requirements but met the league’s minimum of three years in school. The most notable names in the group include UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen, USC quarterback Sam Darnold, Louisville quarterback and Penn State running back Saquon Barkley.

The previous record for early entrants was 98 in 2014. That number dropped to 74 in 2015 before jumping back up to 96 in 2016 and 95 in 2017, respectively.

On top of the 106 who have not completed their degrees, 13, including Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen, who have fulfilled NFL degree requirements but had remaining collegiate eligibility also entered their names into the draft, which will be held on April 26-28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. There were also another four players, including Nebraska quarterback Tanner Lee, who inquired about their draft status and were eligible without needing to apply for special eligibility.

The deadline for declaring for the draft was Jan. 15.
