1. PROMOTION PERIOD. The Heroes of the Storm Valeera Codes Giveaway (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by Yahoo! Inc. (“Sponsor”) and begins at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) Pacific Time on February 6, 2017 and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on February 10, 2017 (“Promotion Period”).

2. HOW TO ENTER.

To enter the Promotion use the competition widget (“Widget”) for this Promotion hosted by the gleam.io website, provided by Crowd9 PTY LTD (“Gleam”) during the Promotion Period to:

(a) go to Sponsor’s website located at https://esports.yahoo.com/ (“Sponsor’s Website”); or

(b) log into the social media platforms listed below (each a “Social Media Platform”) and follow the links and instructions posted on the Widget to take the action(s) described below:

i. Via Facebook: Go to Sponsor’s Facebook page located at www.facebook.com/YahooEsports. You must have a Facebook account to enter via this method. If you do not have a Facebook account, you can create one by visiting www.facebook.com. Facebook accounts are free.

ii. Via YouTube: Go to Sponsor’s YouTube channel located at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCIwwZPRRNrEA4Xg5G8uy3iQ (“Sponsor’s YouTube Channel”) and follow the links and instructions to become a subscriber of Sponsor’s YouTube Channel. You must have a YouTube account to enter via this method. If you do not have a YouTube account, you can create one by visiting https://accounts.google.com/SignUp. YouTube accounts are free.

iii. Via Twitter: Log onto your Twitter account and follow the links and instructions to become a follower of Sponsor’s page on Twitter, located at @YahooEsports. You must be an active holder of a non-private Twitter account to be eligible to enter this Promotion via Twitter (i.e., you must make sure your tweets are set to “public” and not “private”). If you do not have a Twitter account, you can create one by visiting www.twitter.com. Twitter accounts are free.

iv. Via Twitch: Go to Sponsor’s Twitch page located at https://www.twitch.tv/yahooesports (“Sponsor’s Twitch Page”) and follow the links and instructions to become a follower of Sponsor’s Twitch Page. You must have a Twitch account to enter via this method. If you do not have a Twitch account, you can create one by visiting http://twitch.tv. Twitch accounts are free.

For the avoidance of doubt, you must have a Gleam account in order to enter the Promotion. If you do not have a Gleam account, you can create one by visiting https://gleam.io/. Gleam accounts are free.

Important Notice: If you choose to enter on your mobile device using a mobile device on a wireless service provider’s network (as opposed to on a Wi-Fi network), your wireless carrier’s text and data rates apply. You should consult your wireless service provider’s pricing plan for details. You agree to incur any and all charges demanded by your wireless carrier.

Your participation in the Promotion is governed by these Official Rules, as well as any applicable Social Media Platform’s Terms of Service and such Social Media Platform’s Rules. You may enter the Promotion one (1) time via each of the four (4) Social Media Platforms listed above and by visiting the Sponsor’s Website for a total of five (5) entries per person. Multiple Promotion entries by the same person via any of the five (5) entry methods listed above will not result in multiple entries for such person, and may result in all such person’s entries being voided. By participating you agree that Sponsor may use your Promotion entry and your name, including on its social media feeds.

3. PRIZE. 150 winner(s) will each receive: Valeera Hero, Demon Hunter Valeera Launch Skin and Felsaber Launch Mount. Approx. retail value of prize is: $ 22.47. Certain conditions and restrictions may apply to prize. Prizes are non-transferable and no substitution or cash equivalent is allowed except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize with one of comparable approximate retail value. Any expenses that may be associated with receipt or use of prize that are not specifically listed herein are the responsibility of winner(s). All federal, state/provincial and local taxes on a prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

4. ELIGIBILITY. Open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or District of Columbia who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Void elsewhere and where prohibited. Employees, officers and directors of Sponsor, and their parent and affiliate companies, subsidiaries, partners, and each of their respective immediate families (parents, children, siblings, spouse) or members of the same household (whether related or not) of such employees/officers/directors are not eligible to enter. You are not authorized to participate in the Promotion if you are not located within the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.

5. SELECTION. Winner(s) will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received on or about February 13, 2017. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the Promotion. The prize drawing will be conducted Gleam. Only eligible entries actually received by Gleam before the end of the Promotion Period will be included in the prize drawing, and Sponsor reserves the right to award a fewer number of prizes than stated herein if not enough eligible entries are received during the Promotion Period. By entering the Promotion, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Gleam and the Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Promotion.

6. NOTIFICATION. Potential winner(s) will receive (i) in the event that such potential winner made a winning entry via a Social Media Platform, a direct message from Sponsor through the Social Media Platform account used to make such winning entry, or (ii) in the event that such potential winner entered the Promotion by visiting Sponsor’s Website, an email from Sponsor via the email address associated with such person’s Gleam account, in each case, within two (2) days after the Promotion’s end date. If a potential winner cannot be contacted or fails to complete and respond to the direct message within two (2) calendar days, or if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, if any potential winner rejects his/her prize or in the event of noncompliance with these Official Rules, such potential winner’s prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner, time permitting. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given. Potential winners must continue to comply with these Official Rules, and winning is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements. Except where prohibited, acceptance of the prize by a winner constitutes such winner’s consent that his/her name, likeness, voice and/or biographical data may be used for advertising and promotional purposes by Sponsor or its designees, without limitation and without additional notice compensation or consent.

7. RELEASE. By participating, entrants and winners each agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, the Social Media Platforms, Gleam each of their respective affiliates, partners and promotion and advertising agencies and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers and directors (collectively, the “Released Entities”), from any and all liability, for loss, harm, damage, injury, cost or expense whatsoever, including without limitation property damage, personal injury and/or death which may occur in connection with, preparation for or participation in Promotion, or possession, acceptance and/or use or misuse of prize or participation in any Promotion-related activity and for any claims based on copyright, trademark, publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery.

8. ADDITIONAL TERMS. The Released Entities are not responsible for technical, hardware, software, telephone or other communications malfunctions, errors or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate Promotion entries (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one’s ability to enter the Promotion, including any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participating in this Promotion or downloading any materials in this Promotion. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, extend or suspend this Promotion should (in its sole discretion) virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, fraud or other causes beyond its control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness or proper conduct of the Promotion. In such case, Sponsor may make select winner(s) from all eligible participants prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Sponsor. Entrants who do not comply with these Official Rules, or attempt to interfere with this Promotion in any way shall be disqualified.

9. ARBITRATION. The parties waive all rights to trial in any action or proceeding instituted in connection with these Official Rules, including, without limitation, the Promotion. Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to these Official Rules and/or the Promotion shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis, and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party. The arbitration shall be conducted in California.
