Hiko departs OpTic Gaming’s CS:GO team
Spencer “Hiko” Martin has announced he is parting ways with OpTic Gaming’s CS:GO team. He revealed the news on Twitter (via HLTV) today:

Hiko was playing with OpTic as a stand-in during EPL Season 5, at DreamHack Masters Las Vegas, and at the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2017. Prior to that, he was signed to Team Liquid from September 2015 to February 2017. In an interview with Yahoo Esports at DreamHack Vegas, Hiko said that his future with OpTic would depend on how the team performed at IEM Katowice.
OpTic Gaming went on to place 9th-12th at DreamHack Vegas, and 11th-12th at IEM Katowice. Temporary coach Luis “peacemaker” Tadeu also recently left the team after a trial period.
Hiko is one of the most established CS:GO players in NA, with a long history in the pro scene. He had competed in CS 1.6 before making the transition to CS:GO. Hiko is also known for his regular streams.
