IEM Katowice 2017 CS:GO tournament results, Astralis takes first place

The Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament at the Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2017 have concluded, with Astralis taking first place.

Astralis beat FaZe in a best-of-five series of games that went 3-1. Astralis won on the maps Overpass, Nuke, and Inferno, while FaZe won on Cache.

The full results of the tournament are as follows:

  • 1st. Astralis ($104,000)

  • 2nd. FaZe ($44,000)

  • 3rd-4th. Immortals ($24,000) / Heroic ($23,000)

  • 5th-6th. North / Natus Vincere ($13,000)

  • 7th-8th. Fnatic / Virtus.pro ($7,000)

  • 9th-10th. Cloud9 ($5,000) / Ninjas in Pyjamas ($4,000)

  • 11th-12th. SK Gaming ($4,000) / OpTic Gaming ($2,000)

Teams are awarded $1,000 for each victory in the group stages in addition to their placement prize money.
