Following the alleged leak of a release date for upcoming fighting game Injustice 2, co-creator Ed Boon has publicly quashed rumors of a March 28 launch date.

The date was first listed on the official Xbox website in the “Rewards” section. However, Boon has since followed up with a post on Twitter.

It’s worth noting that the previous fighting games released by NetherRealm Studios have launched in the month of April. Mortal Kombat X was released on April 14 in 2015, Injustice: Gods Among Us was released April 16 in 2013, and Mortal Kombat was released on April 19, 2011.

Injustice 2 has been confirmed for the PS4 and Xbox One, but no definitive release window has been revealed yet.
