The Joker revealed as playable character in Injustice 2

The Joker is officially returning to Injustice 2.

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer introducing a new look for the Clown Prince of Crime, who was leaked in an achievement list on Tuesday. Instead of his trademark purple suit, The Joker now sports a purple trench coat, a new hairdo, and ‘HA’ painted on his chest (presumably in someone’s blood?)

While The Joker’s playstyle appears to be focused on his knife, he still employs gadgets like a hand shock buzzer, exploding presents, and more on his opponents. His super move also traps his opponents in an electric chair sitting on top of a pile of lit dynamite.

In related villainous character reveal news, we got our first look at Injustice 2 antagonist Brainiac recently. He and The Joker join Captain Cold and Scarecrow as evil-doers in the sequel.

Injustice 2 is slated to launch on May 16 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
