League of Legends Rift Rivals announced for July, will be hosted around the world

Riot Games has announced Rift Rivals, a League of Legends event taking place around the world throughout July 3-9. The event will see different regional rivals going head-to-head in competition for “glory and bragging rights.”

There will be five tournaments featuring 13 regions. Each tournament will have its own number of teams, venues, and format, but every event will feature specific paired regions. For example, North America vs. Europe.

The teams will be selected for participation in Rift Rivals based on their results in the most recently completed split (Spring or Split 1) and will be seeded according to this. More details for reach Rift Rival are as follows:
