Ready your memes, folks. Worlds 2016 is coming, and Riot Games is pulling out the classics.

With Jax already (sort of) in meta and Irelia getting buffs instead of nerfs, there were only two champions that needed to make a comeback: Corki and Kassadin. And guess what? Riot tossed both of them buffs in the just released Patch 6.15.

Now, Corki’s passive is up a full minute faster, allowing him to deliver the Package with updated frequency. Not a massive buff for the Daring Bombadier, but certainly enough to make him tempting for Worlds contenders.

As for Kassadin, it’s been no secret that he struggles too much in the early game to safely make it until his late game powerhouse status. To ensure that the once and future mid lane king isn’t completely irrelevant once Worlds rolls around, Riot has buffed his Q just a tad, ensuring that his laning phase isn’t a total nightmare, particularly against the control mages that are so prevalent right now in the meta.

In terms of other other, non-stereotypically Worlds buffs, Jarvan IV is getting more attack speed on his E to help with early jungle clears, Renekton does more damage with his ult and gains Fury when activating it, Shyvana gets her ult up more frequently early, Vayne’s Q now hits towers, and Zyra’s Q hits harder now.

There are a few nerfs here, too. Braum’s Q and passive do less damage, Hecarim’s base AD and Q are weaker, Illaoi’s tentacles are visible even when in bushes, Karma’s R shields are weaker and can’t target minions anymore, Malzahar’s spell invulnerability passive comes up slower and doesn’t last as long, Shen doesn’t regenerate quite as quickly, Sona’s W and E both got toned down, Taliyah’s ult is on a longer cooldown, Viktor’s ult only moves faster if it’s targeting him, and — finally — Vladimir’s Sanguine Pool isn’t up as often. Whew.

Nidalee is also seeing changes, but it’s unclear if they’re nerfs or buffs quite yet. Changing forms no longer resets her autoattacks, but her Q in both forms does more damage. Only the pros will be able to tell us if that trade is worth it.

Oh, and some those turret changes we talked about last week are going through (notably the First Blood bonus and early game fortification), in case you were wondering.
