LGD Gaming announced their roster for 2017 LPL Spring on weibo. Their roster includes a rookie Korean jungler, Park “Croc” Jonghoon and previous mid laner, Li “Punished” Yuanhui as a top laner.

For the 2017 Spring season, LGD’s roster is as follows:

  • Top: Li “Punished” Yuanhui

  • Top: Lim “Jinoo” Jinwoo

  • Jungle: Tang “1ntruder” Sheng

  • Jungle: Xie “Eimy” Dan

  • Jungle: Park “Croc” Jonghoon

  • Mid: Wei “We1less” Zhen

  • ADC: Gu “imp” Seungbin

  • ADC: Chen “SukiM” Zhiyuan

  • Support: Chen “Pyl” Bo

In addition to Croc, LGD Gaming also added SukiM, previous mid laner of Team WE in 2014 LPL Spring who role swapped to AD carry following his benching in 2014 LPL Summer.

LGD Gaming played the LPL Promotion Tournament in 2016 LPL Summer to retain their spot in the LPL for 2017, but saw a rash of victories toward the end of the regular season with the return of We1less to the lineup after he recovered from his wrist injury. At the end of 2016 season, top laner Jang “MaRin” Gyeonghwan chose to leave the team and return to South Korea, but AD carry imp remained on the roster, claiming his decision to stay in China was not about money.

In 2015, LGD Gaming won 2015 LPL Summer and qualified for the World Championship, but failed to escape the group stage.
