Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite release date and characters revealed

Capcom has released a new story trailer for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, revealing more characters and a September 19 release date.

The trailer highlights the game’s antagonist Ultron Sigma, a combination of Marvel villain Ultron and Mega Man X villain Sigma. In addition to the previously revealed Captain America, Mega Man X, Iron Man, and Captain Marvel, we get our first look at Strider Hiryu, Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye, Resident Evil’s Chris Redfield, Chun-Li, and Rocket Raccoon.

Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is available now for pre-order. The Standard Edition will cost $60 and come with two premium costume pre-order bonuses: Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu. Capcom is offering a Deluxe Edition of the game, which costs $90 and includes a 2017 character pass, offering access to six “all-new” DLC characters, including Sigma. The Warrior Thor and Evil Ryu costumes, and Gladiator Hulk and Command Mission X premium costumes will also come with the Deluxe Edition as pre-order bonuses.

A $200 Collector’s Edition will also be available and will contain all previously mentioned content, four statues of Iron Man, Captain America, Mega Man X, and Chun-Li, and “LED-fueled” Infinity Stone replicas.
