Just last February mousesports had announced it was transferring Nikola “NiKo” Kovač to FaZe Clan following the conclusion of DreamHack Masters Las Vegas. Ropz is relatively new to the professional scene, and it will be interesting to see how the new lineup fares in their upcoming game in the ESL Pro League today.

“Ropz is one of the biggest talents out there and we had great success nurturing upcoming young players in the past,” said mousesports CEO Cengiz Tüylü. “I am confident that he will be a great addition to the team and develop into an important role for mousesports. On the other hand i am really sad that Spiidi will move out of the lineup. Timo is a great person and player, unfortunately he lost some of his motivation to play in the past months and decided to take a step back.”

Spiidi shared a separate post on Twitter on the move, citing a lack of motivation to continue playing in the team, but says that he will “never stop playing competitive” until he reaches his goals.
