Esports organization North has announced that it has parted ways with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player Ruben “Rubino” Villarroel. The team has acquired Philip “Aizy” Aistrup to fill his spot.

The announcement was shared on Facebook, where it was revealed that the change was Rubino’s decision. According to the post, Rubino felt like he was “holding them back” following North’s performance at the ELeague Major, despite the team’s “combined efforts to convince [him] otherwise.”

Aizy was formerly a member of Faze Clan before joining North. He has signed to North with a three-year contract and will be competing with the team at DreamHack Masters Las Vegas.
