After just three months with Fnatic’s Overwatch team, Swedish hitscan DPS player André “iddqd” Dahlström has left the roster and joined up with NRG.

During the early days of Overwatch esports, iddqd has established himself as one of the most talented players in the world, and will be joining up with Brandon “Seagull” Larned as the DPS core of NRG’s roster.

The pair will try to improve on NRG’s recent results after finishing 5-6th at MLG Vegas, failing to qualify for the Winter Premiere, and finishing 9-12th at Overwatch APEX Season 1. Fnatic, on the other hand, finished 3-4th at MLG Vegas, largely on the back of iddqd’s stellar play.

With iddqd’s signing, NRG has begun rebuilding their roster after Carl “Enigma” Yangsheng, Yomar “Milo” Toldeo, and Matthew “Clockwork” Dias departed from the team at the end of 2016. Seagull and iddqd are currently backed up by support Tim “dummy” Olson and tank Seb “numlocked” Barton.
