Party on: Chiefs TE Travis Kelce turns the Lombardi Trophy into a beer luge

This offseason is going to be pretty fun for the Kansas City Chiefs. When you break a 50-year Super Bowl drought, you can live it up a little.

Once upon a time, Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce had the best championship parade speech you’ve ever seen. If you’re picking a Chiefs player to be that guy at the team’s parade on Wednesday, well, it’s probably Jason’s brother Travis.

Travis Kelce, the Chiefs’ excellent tight end, is enjoying being a Super Bowl champion. He couldn’t drink out of the Lombardi Trophy, Stanley Cup-style, so he did the next best thing and turned the $50,000 trophy into a beer luge.

This better become a tradition.

Kelce was one of the stars of Super Bowl week. He’s one of the best tight ends in football and has a personality to match. He certainly earned his Super Bowl ring. And he’s going to enjoy it for a while.
