Report: 76ers trading Al Horford, draft picks to Thunder for Danny Green

Just days after being sent to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Danny Green is on the move again.

The Thunder struck a deal with the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday night — just hours ahead of the 2020 NBA draft — to send Green and forward Terrance Ferguson to Philadelphia in exchange for veteran big man Al Horford and a pair of draft picks, according to EPSN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The Thunder acquired a 2025 first round pick in the deal and the No. 34 overall pick in Wednesday’s draft.

The 76ers also sent the rights to Serbian star Vasilije Micic, 26, to the Thunder in the deal, per Wojnarowski.

Green was sent to Oklahoma City along with the No. 28th pick in Wednesday’s draft earlier this week in exchange for guard Dennis Schroder. Green averaged eight points and 3.3 rebounds per game last season in Los Angeles while helping lead the Lakers to a title.

Ferguson averaged 3.9 points and 1.3 rebounds per game in Oklahoma City last season, his third in the league.

Horford put up 11.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game last season in Philadelphia, his 13th in the league and first with the 76ers after a three-year stint in Boston. The 34-year-old is just one year into a four-year, $109 million deal he signed to land in Philadelphia.
