The Houston Astros have a 3-2 lead over the Boston Red Sox in the American League Championship Series and can clinch their third trip to the World Series in five years with a win in Game 6 at Minute Maid Park on Friday.

The Red Sox took two of the first three, but the Astros won Games 4 and 5 in Boston – outscoring them 18-3 – to send the series to back Houston with two chances to close it out.

This is the third postseason meeting between the two teams since 2017. The Astros beat the Red Sox in the 2017 ALDS before Boston took the 2018 ALCS, both going on to win the World Series title that year.

If the Red Sox win Friday, Game 7 will be played on Saturday.
