Jace Hall, former Warner Bros. executive and founder of game development studio Monolith Productions, has been named CEO of esports organization Echo Fox.
The new CEO has decades of experience in the gaming space, having founded Monolith Productions (the company behind games like The Matrix Online, No One Lives Forever, F.E.A.R., and Condemned: Criminal Origins, among many others). In 014, Hall purchased video game high-score archiving organization Twin Galaxies and is the president of HDFILMS, Inc.
“I feel very fortunate to welcome Jace to the Echo Fox family,” Rick Fox, owner of Echo Fox and three-time NBA champion, said in a statement. “He is an industry leader whose experience, vision and knowledge of the eSports [sic] industry make him an incredible addition to our franchise.”
The hiring comes in tangent with Echo Fox expanding into esports that aren’t League of Legends, notably Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and H1Z1.
