Royal Never Give Up has revealed their 2017 LPL Summer roster on weibo. The updated League of Legends roster includes one top lane substitute, one jungle substitute, and two AD carry substitutes. The latter includes Wang “wuxx” Cheng, who played for the team when they won LPL in 2016 Spring.

During the 2017 LPL Spring Split, Royal Never Give Up’s jungler Liu “Mlxg” Shiyu and AD carry Jian “Uzi” Zihao were subbed out multiple times for health reasons. In the 2017 Summer Split, Royal have shored up their substitute roster in these positions in addition to adding ex-EDward Gaming top laner, Tong “Koro1” Yang.

Royal Never Give Up’s 2017 Summer roster is as follows:

Top: Yan “Letme” Junze
Top: Tong “Koro1” Yang
Jungle: Liu “Mlxg” Shiyu
Jungle: Hu “Y1HAN” Zhiwei
Mid: Li “xiaohu” Yuanhao
ADC: Jian “Uzi” Zihao
ADC: Wang “wuxx” Chen
ADC: Wang “y4” Nongmo
Support: Shi “Ming” Senming

Y1HAN played as a rookie for Royal Never Give Up for one week of the 2017 Spring Split. y4 was previously a member of the Royal organization, but most recently played for LSPL team Now Or Never.

Royal Never Give Up placed second in the 2017 LPL Spring Playoffs. With these changes, they remain one of two all-Chinese lineups in the league.
