RUMOR: Lost Secrets of Un’Goro the next Hearthstone expansion
Video game voice actor Lani Minella’s resume has something very interesting on it, as Polygon reports. Deep within her credits list is the name Hearthstone: Lost Secrets of Un’Goro, which could be the name of the next expansion for Blizzard’s collectible card game.
Following Blizzard’s pattern of expansions so far, the next set of new cards will likely come in the form of an Adventure, as Mean Streets of Gadgetzan was a formal, card pack based expansion. If that’s the case, it will bring somewhere between 30 and 45 new cards to Hearthstone.
Lani Minella has been featured in dozens of games, but Hearthstone players may know her as Cult Master, Twilight Geomancer, or Darkshire Librarian, among others. If her credits list holds true, she’ll also be the voice of “Golakka Crawler, Pteradactyl, Anklesaur, Hydra, and Brontosaurus” in Lost Secrets of Un’Goro. Those card names seem fairly generic for Hearthstone; they could certainly change in the final release.
Interestingly, three of the five cards she has listed are dinosaurs, implying that there could be a prehistoric theme for the new adventure. Plus, the region of Un’Goro in World of Warcraft is fairly dinosaur-heavy, so that would fit with the theme.
