Ryne Sandberg finds all his Cubs teammates on 'Old Baseball Cards'
Welcome to the first time in your life where you might care about the checklist in a pack of baseball cards.
On this week’s episode of “Old Baseball Cards,” our fun baseball nostalgia video series, we’re joined by Hall of Famer and Chicago Cubs legend Ryne Sandberg. In the history of this show, only one person has pulled their own card (shout out Bernie Williams!) but Sandberg might have earned himself an asterisk. He pulled a checklist that he’s on. Does that count? You could make the case that he found ALLLLL his teammates from that. And yes, I’m going to do that. You gotta appreciate the efficiency.

Beyond the checklist, it’s a fun episode with a baseball legend who talks about two guys he thinks should be in the Hall of Fame with him, shares the story of his most painful game-winning RBI, tries some gum from 1987 and talks about new gloves vs. old gloves.
