Capcom has announced the dates for the second Capcom Fighters Network beta test for Street Fighter V.

PC and PlayStation 4 users will be able to participate in the CFN beta from May 11-14. The beta will be free to to all during that time and will include all Season 2 updates and characters, including the next as-of-yet unannounced DLC character – which is rumored to be Balrog’s partner in crime Ed.

Capcom recently delayed the release of the upcoming CFN update, stating its goal is to test updates and functionality to ensure the CFN is “where it needs to be.”

The second beta test will include an update to the Rage Quit Penalty System, with properly functioning matchmaking to pit rage quitters against each other instead, shorter load times going into Ranked and Casual Matches, improved speed in finding opponents, more detailed Fighter Profile stats, and more. You can view a full list of the updates on the Capcom-Unity blog.

PC and PS4 cross-play will be enabled this time around. The previous CFN beta was limited to PC only.

Capcom did note that upon the conclusion of the CFN beta, the DLC character and online data from the beta period will be removed. A release date for the new character has not been announced yet.

Recently, Capcom revealed the new Capcom Pro Tour 2017 DLC, which is available now along with new work and school-themed costumes. A new Thailand stage was available for a short time but Capcom pulled the stage over an issue with an unintended “religious reference” and is working to resolve the issue before putting the stage back up for sale.
