Capcom has confirmed that the Street Fighter V Capcom Fighters Network and Season 2 balance updates have been delayed. As detailed on the Capcom Unity website, the developer has revealed plans to conduct an additional Beta test to “get the new CFN to where it needs to be.”

Current and new players will be able to participate in the beta test for free. All DLC characters will be available to play for the duration of the test period, including the as-of-yet unannounced new Season 2 DLC character.

Capcom confirmed that the new character would be revealed “at the end of April.” The Season 2 updates were originally scheduled to be released at this time, but have been pushed back as a result of the CFN update delay. No new release date has been revealed.
