Street Fighter V tournament Final Round 2017 results: Xian takes first place

The annual Street Fighter V Final Round tournament has drawn to a close after an epic weekend, and Kun “Xian” Xian Ho walked away with the win.

The tournament was the first Capcom Pro Tour premier event of the year. The victory earned Xian 400 points as per the new CPT 2017 ruleset.

Xian took the top spot in a grand final against Keita “Fuudo” Ai that went 3-1. Capcom Cup 2016 champion Du “NuckleDu” Dang placed third.

Interestingly, Xian won the tournament using Ibuki — a big change from his previous character F.A.N.G.

Xian is also one of the players invited to compete in ELeague’s Street Fighter V Invitational event. The list is pretty stacked, so we’ve provided our breakdown and rankings of each group.

Final Round 2017 took place at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta and ran from March 10-12. The tournament marked the 20th anniversary of the event and also included tournaments for Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, and Ultimate Marvel versus. Capcom 3.
