Car maker Subaru has revealed the teams that will be competing in its first ever Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, the Subaru Invitational.

The tournament will feature the following eight teams:

  • OpTic Gaming

  • Counter Logic Gaming

  • NRG

  • Luminosity Gaming

  • Cloud9

  • SK Gaming

  • Team Liquid

  • Immortals

The teams will be competing for a share of the $20,000 prize pool. The tournament will take place on May 13-14 and be livestreamed on Twitch. The event marks Subaru’s first dedicated esports tournament. The company has not revealed where the tournament will be hosted, or if it will be an online-only event.

Subaru isn’t the only car company to venture in esports recently. Earlier this year Audi revealed a high-profile sponsorship of Astralis’ CS:GO team.

In related CS:GO news, DreamHack Open Austin concluded last weekend. Gambit Esports beat out Immortals 2-0 in the grand finals to take home the trophy; check out the full results in our article.
