'Suns in 4' fight fan to receive tickets, autographed jersey from Suns' Devin Booker

Justin Westrich saw it, too.

A Suns fan who resides in Phoenix and works as a technology sales executive, Westrich was inside Ball Arena in Denver for Friday's Game 3 and saw the fracas that's made Nick McKellar famous and got the attention of Devin Booker.

"I was in the section over but could see everything happen in real-time," Westrich said. "The game was out of hand and it was awesome to see the players stop what they were doing in the timeout, notice the commotion in the stands and start watching the fight."

Westrich said Booker was one of those players.

So he's happy McKellar will receive tickets to a game in the Western Conference finals and an autographed Booker jersey after Booker tweeted for his "info" a day after the Suns completed their sweep of the Nuggets with Sunday's Game 4 road victory.

"I think it’s awesome Book made the effort to track him down and reward him," Westrich said.

Booker's CAA representatives confirmed to The Republic they tracked down McKellar through social media as he has an Instagram account (Sun.in.4) and that the longtime Suns fan is "very excited" about the signed jersey and tickets.

Living in Denver, McKellar drew national attention after his altercation in Game 3 in which he and a Nuggets fan exchanged blows.

Based on accounts from fans witnessing the fight, the Nuggets fan took offense to McKellar saying, "Suns in 4!" which was the chant in the fourth quarter of Game 2 in Phoenix the Suns won by 25 points.

The fight video, which went viral, shows the argument appearing to be over after the two grabbed each other and were separated, but then the Nuggets fan threw a punch at McKellar, who was wearing a black Steve Nash Suns jersey.

That led to McKellar grabbing the Nuggets fan and hitting him repeatedly with uppercuts.

After surrounding fans asked McKellar to stop as the Nuggets fan wasn't fighting back at this point, McKellar shouted, "Suns in 4!" as he held up four fingers. The video ends with police showing up on the scene, but no reported arrests were made.

Screenshots erupted on Twitter of McKellar in that moment.

Booker ended up using it on a tweet Monday with a simple message.

"Need mans info."

His CAA reps got it, found McKellar and now the longtime Suns fan will be receiving an autographed jersey and tickets to a game in the conference finals.

Phoenix will play the Utah Jazz-Los Angeles Clippers series winner in the conference finals that'll begin either Sunday or Tuesday.

If the fourth-seeded Clippers close out the Jazz in Game 6 Friday in Los Angeles, Game 1 of the conference finals will be Sunday at Phoenix Suns Arena.

If the top-seeded Jazz win Friday to force a Game 7 in Salt Lake City, Game 1 of the conference finals will be Tuesday either in Utah or Phoenix.

Phoenix went 3-0 against Utah in the regular season, 1-2 against the Clippers.
