Team Liquid announces addition of Twistzz to CS:GO team
Esports organization Team Liquid has officially announced the addition of player Russel “Twistzz” VanDulken to their Counter-Strike: Global Offensive team. The news was revealed following heavy speculation while Twistzz played as a stand-in for the team during the ESL Pro League.
The full current TL lineup is as follows:
Nicholas “nitr0” Cannella
Jonathan “EliGE” Jablonowski
Joshua “jdm64” Marzano
Peter “stanislaw Jarguz (Captain)
Russel “Twistzz” VanDulken
Wilton “zews” Prado (Coach)
“I see myself fitting in as a Coldzera type support player,” Twistzz said in the announcement. “This is a role that I do like along with lurking. In this scenario, however, Liquid already have a lurker. For this, I will be that impactful support player that they need.”
Twistzz was formerly on Misfits’ CS:GO team, whom he had joined in January 2017. Misfits loaned him to Team Liquid as a stand-in for EPL.
Team Liquid will be competing in the upcoming cs_summit event, which invites eight teams to compete for a $150,000 prize pool.
There’s been a lot of movement in the competitive CS:GO scene as of late. Renegades recently announced the addition of two new players, mousesports signed ropz, and Selfless Gaming parted ways with their entire CS:GO roster.
