Team Liquid has officially confirmed their starting five for the 2017 NA LCS Summer Split, the organization announced today via Twitter.

The League of Legends roster will be as follows:

  • Samson “Lourlo” Jackson – Top

  • Kim “Reignover” Yeu-jin – Jungle

  • Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer – Mid

  • Chae “Piglet” Gwang-jin – AD carry

  • Matt “Matt” Elento – Support

According to the Riot Games contract database, Austin “Link” Shin is still under contract with Team Liquid, implying that he could still sub in for the team. He didn’t play a single game during the Spring Split.

All five players have been under contract with Team Liquid since at least the beginning of 2017 and have started for the team at one point or another. However, the lineup struggled to find success over the course of the Spring Split, causing multiple lineup shuffles, including signing Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng to help them avoid relegation from the NA LCS. With his help, the team survived the NA LCS Summer Promotion tournament, re-qualifying for the league.
