Team SoloMid is bolstering their Hearthstone roster by signing Julien “Cydonia” Perrault-Harvey, the organization announced today.

Traditionally, TSM has only signed streamers like Octavian “Kripparrian” Morosan and Jeffrey “Trump” Shih to the team (though the latter has had competitive success in the past). Cydonia is the first Hearthstone player TSM has picked up for the explicit purpose of competing in tournaments.

2016 was a good year for Cydonia. He won the 2016 Hearthstone Championship Tour Americas Spring Championship, earning his spot at the 2016 Hearthstone World Championship at BlizzCon. There, he finished fifth through eighth and took home $50,000.

“I am ecstatic to be joining TSM and I look forward to build on my successes of last year and to keep performing in tournaments and on ladder,” Cydonia said in a statement. “I will also maintain a bigger presence in the community by attending offline events and streaming regularly under the TSM banner.”

Cydonia will focus on competing in tournaments, but will be streaming regularly, making a trifecta of TSM streamers. Previously, he had played under the banner of Escape Gaming.
