Trevor Lawrence, Adidas team up to raise money for charity

Before his days of becoming a Jacksonville Jaguar, it was clear that the city of Jacksonville and the NFL were not only getting a great player (potentially) in Trevor Lawrence but a great philanthropist, too. That was evident when he joined forces with the Jacksonville community and Revolution Cooking to raise $54,938 for charities in the Jax area, which is soon to be his home.

However, Lawrence hasn’t stopped there as he and one of his sponsors, Adidas, are now set to help the Jacksonville community. The global sportswear company announced that they would be releasing some commemorative non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that feature the former Clemson star. The NFTs will come in the form of 3D animated trading card collectibles and will be released on Thursday between the times of 10 a.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET. Both items that can be purchased and some that will require bidding will be available via Bitski.com.

Of course, this isn’t the only time Lawrence has been featured on a trading card. He recently did a deal with Topps for a special set of trading cards, which were partly designed by his brother and sister-in-law.

As for his deal with Adidas, it appears Lawrence signed it last week although it had been in the works prior. Under the multi-year deal, he joined notable football players like Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, and Dak Prescott on Adidas’ football roster.
